I initially started Djinius (Genius) under the name Exotique Treasures, alongside my husband, way back in 2013. I was compelled to starting this business after visiting Kenya, and seeing such beautiful handcrafted jewelry, sculpture, home goods, and other artistic pieces. I purchased as much as I could and brought it home to America and sold it at local events. Many people asked how they could purchase my products, especially the shea butter, once the local event was over, this request prompted me to launch and rebrand to djinius.shop. 

Since then, I have been fortunate to maintain relationships with my initial vendors as well as travel to different countries, duplicating that same concept. I purchase jewelry, bags, fans and other items of interest directly from vendors at the price they set and bring them back to America for my customers to enjoy.  I value supporting the global community as far as helping people build and maintain their businesses at home, and helping their beautiful work reach beyond their borders.
